2023: Wike’s campaign posters flood Abuja as northern group backs Rivers governor

As politicians gear up for the 2023 General Elections, the posters of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, on Monday, flooded the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), calling on him to contest for the position of president to save Nigeria from the current security challenges.

The posters were sighted at strategic positions in FCT, including Asokoro, Maitama, Federal Secretariat and Airport Road sponsored by Northerners For Change Group.

The inscription on the posters read: “Come to Save 2023! Barr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike For President.”

The group urged the governor to come forward and rescue the country so that the insecurity challenge would become a thing of the last.

It would be recalled that the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi; Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu; Publisher of Ovation and a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, among others, have declared their intentions to run for the number-one seat of the country.
