How my uncle disabled my Mother for refusing to sleep with him – Activist

A right activist, Comrade Kenneth Emeh, has narrated how his uncle, Mr. Alloysius Emeh, inflicted physical injury which disabled her mother, Mrs. Cecilia Emeh, for allegedly refusing to sleep with him after the death of her husband.

Emeh in a petition to the Anambra State Police Commissioner, Mr. Echeng Echeng, also made available to newsmen, alleged that his uncle in the course of his dastardly action transferred his aggression to her mother’s children especially her sons.

In the petition, Emeh, said his mother sustained waist injury which disabled her 10 years ago, when his uncle threw her down, beat and stuffed her mouth with sand at their farmland in Owerre -Ezukala in Orumba Local Government Area of Anambra State.
“It was in the process that my mother sustained waste injury which has permanently disabled her,” stated Emeh who is also an Onitsha based trader.

The activist said his uncle was not yet done with their mother as he continuously tried to find a way to quarrel with her which again allegedly came to head on January 2, 2022, being Sunday.
In the presence of some villagers, he said, his uncle pounced on her mother and beat her to stupor.

When he rushed to the place, said Emeh, his mother was already lying on the ground helpless, while some villagers reprimanded Alloysius for his action.

Emeh said in the petition to the Police that when he got to the place he did not say a word but took his mother to home.

Unfortunately, the same
Alloysius followed them, boasting and engaged his mother in verbal onslaught.

“While I was coming out of the family compound Alloysius called his children and directed them to beat and kill me. He punched me all over my body. His children numbering about five joined in beating me.They kicked and injured my testicles with blood flowing profusely,” Emeh narrated.

He also alleged that in 2020, Alloysius’s two daughters, Chinenye and Lynda beat his mother which made his brother to return to the village to ascertain what happened.

They went ahead to molest his brother, who called in the military from Umunze but Alloysius rushed to the traditional ruler of Owerre-Ezukala, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Thomas Ogbonna, Eze Ogbampi 11 and the Parish Priest of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Owerre-Ezukala for their intervention.

They promised to resolve the matter but more than one year now since the Igwe-In-Council and the Catholic Priest waded into the matter and reconciled us, Alloysius and his children have observed the reconciliation in breach.

Alloysius’s latest antics, said Emeh, was to make incantations with the names of members of their family along Owerre-Ezukala/Umunze road, to the effect that they should die.
He alleged that when one of their uncles Innocent Emeh died, Alloysius made overtures to the wife who turned him down and he sent the woman packing from the house.

He called on the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State to use his good office to stop Alloysius and his children from further harassment, intimidation, verbal attack and beating of her mother.

“He should stop making any incantation against my mother and her children anywhere around our compound,” Emeh demanded.

He asked for the arrest and prosecution of Alloysius and his children for physically assaulting his mother and himself in order to serve as a restraint for further abuse of his family members.
