An Onitsha based business mogul, Chief Gilbert Obi, popularly known as Bravo has urged Nigerians across ethnic and religious background to again troupe out on March 18, 2023 and vote massively for Labour Party Governorship and House of Assembly candidates in all the states of the federation.

The businessman said this has become necessary so as to maintain the tempo with which they voted the presidential candidate of the party, Mr. Peter Obi on February 25th Presidential and National Assembly election.

Bravo, who is the Chairman of Board of Trustees (BoT), Importers Association of Nigeria (IMANI) said: “I advise all the Obedients to come out in large number like they did in the last election to vote for all Labour Party candidates to show that what happened in the last election was not a fluke but determined efforts by Nigerians to sack those who refused to hand over power to youths.”

“Peter Obi is a man of the people because of his achievements when he was the Governor of Anambra State. Those achievements are still there for all to see therefore, a vote for Labour Party is a vote for a better Nigeria.”

He warned that any plot to stop the Labour Party Presidential candidate from being sworn in as the next President of Nigeria would be counterproductive because Obi’s emergence is divine.

He said the ignoble role of INEC in the last election has been condemned by majority of Nigerians, International Community, Civil Society Organizations, among other groups.

“INEC should try to avoid the wrath of God by doing the needful. Mr. Peter Obi won the Presidential election but INEC gave the victory to Bola Tinubu, and that was why there was no jubilation nationwide. Everywhere wore mourning mood.

“Obi won the election, he is a very humble man. Obi is God-sent to deliver the country from the old order. If Tinubu is the President of this country, Nigerians will be in trouble,” he pointed.

He said that prior to the commencement of the presidential election, he knew that Obi will win because Nigerians, especially the youths want change.

“The youths want to take back their country from the older generation and no other candidate has been accepted the way Obi was accepted few months to the Presidential election,” he explained.

The business mogul, described Obi as a divine gift not only to the Igbo race but to Nigerians in general.

He said one thing about Obi is that he is naturally a humble man .

“Even if you abuse him, he will laugh and reply, ‘You are the Oga’ but he bears what he will do in his heart.”

Chief Obi concluded by warning the judiciary on carrying out the Presidential election petition with all diligence to ensure that justice is not only done but seem to have been done.
