NOA flags off sensitization campaign on national anthem, national values charter

National Orientation Agency (NOA), Anambra State Directorate, Awka, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 flagged off National Sensitization exercise on National Anthem and National Values Charter through a press conference.

The objectives of the charter is to foster civic engagement and to sensitize Nigerians about National Values and the New National Anthem, inspire Patriotism and National Unity, educate the general public on the meaning and significance of the new National Anthem,
ensure that every Nigerian sings the Anthem with pride and patriotism, and to educate the people on the seven promises of the government to the citizens;Equality, Democracy, Entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, Peace and security, Inclusivity, Freedom and justice, Meritocracy

Expectedly, in return, the citizens are obligated to demonstrate these seven cores as citizens Codes; Discipline, Duty of care, Tolerance and respect for others, Leadership and patriotism, Transparency, Environmental awareness, Resilience.

The event took place at the National Orientation Agency (NOA) Office, Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke Federal Secretariat Complex, Awka.
