Four killed in Niger Bridge accident

At least four persons were killed today when a truck failed brake on the Niger bridge and crushed four hawkers.The truck which was heading to Onitsha was said to have failed brake, crushing the hawkers, including an elderly woman.The truck also smashed fully loaded Mitsubishi L 300 which plies Asaba-Onitsha.Fortunately, no person was injured or killed in the bus as passengers and the driver were said to have escaped before the truck rammed into the bus.Eyewitness accounts said the driver of the truck might have lost control due to brake…
