A lawyer, Festus Onifade, on Monday, accused the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) of institutional incompetence.Onifade made the allegation before a Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal (CCPT) sitting in Abuja while moving his originating summons.The claimants; Onifade, a legal practitioner, and Coalition of Nigeria Consumers, on behalf of himself and others, had sued the company and FCCPC as 1st and 2nd respondents, shortly after the company, on March 22, 2022 announced its plan to increase price of its products from April 1.The claimants had prayed the tribunal for…
